My Pricing
Pricing is an important part of your business and how much you charge is completely up to you. Adding your prices has two major benefits:
- Prices help the right customers find your business.
- Customers are more likely to contact you if you have prices listed.
We know that how you charge for services varies depending on your business, the service, the job details, etc.
Some services are just too complex to try to collect pricing upfront, in those cases there is no option to add pricing.
When pricing is available for a service it is usually in one of the following:
Your Base Price is typically an hourly rate or flat rate; something that doesn't really change. In addition to the base price, we provide a spot for extra or additional fees such as a travel fee or add-on services. For example, a house cleaner may charge $30 per hour, plus a $10 fee to clean the inside of a refrigerator or do a load of laundry.
A Price Range is available for some services, where pricing a job is a little more complicated. An example would be a roofing contractor. A roofer may have a price range because their price depends on what type of shingles you want or how steep the slope of your roof is.
Your estimated starting price and a link to your profile are listed in search results so that customers can find your business and learn more before contacting you. Your starting price is just a ballpark estimate.
Sometimes you need more details to offer an accurate price. That's fine, but considering adding a starting price to reflect the minimum the customer can expect to pay and use your profile to tell customers that you will be able to give them a more accurate, personalized price after you speak with them.
